Life can be simple.

What if we celebrated the brave act of . . . taking a break?

What if simplicity,
comfort, and quiet were the goal?

What if there really was a way to quiet the chatter in our minds and let us recharge our body & soul?

And what if it was fun, too?

Introducing a new eCourse . . . SOUL COMFORT

Soul Comfort is a fresh new concept using art and journaling as a means to relax and comfort yourself and to get grounded while dealing with the craziness of every-day living.

This course if full of beautiful projects to fuel your creativity in very simple and easy ways that are meditational and relaxing , beautiful comforting things that will have your soul infused into them so that you want to keep them forever.

Melody (course creator and teacher) says, “I want to teach you some new habits of creativity mixed with simplicity that I have learned over the years. Being a recovering hoarder of supplies and techniques, this is really a new way to give yourself permission to do things simply but beautifully.

One of the most wonderful things about this course is that everything fits into one fabric tote bag . . . I wanted to create a whole course where all of the supplies fit into a tiny space so that you could take it everywhere you go…so that you could do it sitting on your bed, on your couch, with your family, do it with your children, in the car, wherever your day takes you. It’s incredible. This has changed my life. This has been something that I have used on my own and I can’t wait to share it with you.”

  1. Lounging on fluffy pillows, curled up soaking up love from the One who made me with the love of my life next to me. Plus a nice cup of something hot.

  2. When I think of soul comfort I think of being deeply connected and rooted to the earth, the ground and myself as a woman. I think of giving myself love, gratitude, sensitivity, self care and empathy.

  3. For me soul comfort is spending quiet time with God, He recharges my weary soul ( especially in a nice warm bubble bath, hee hee )
I find it so hard to find quiet, but my fam gives me my space in the bath!!

    thank you!!

  4. Being surrounded by books, some lit candles, maybe a fire burning. Also the sounds of my little 4-year old happily singing or playing by herself. These things warm my soul and make me think “soul comfort”.

  5. When I hear the words “soul comfort” I think of wonderful quiet and calm…warm coffee and my puppy laying against me. Thank you so much for the chance to win. :)

  6. Soul comfort Makes me think of being able to truly balance my life and work, to have nourishing and delightful food, to light a candle and feel completely at ease with myself and the world

  7. when I hear the words “soul comfort” I think of my soul and all it represents — all that is in it — and how it works in my life day in and day out — and to have comfort in that place is of such importance because in comfort you find so many qualities that affect your life and how your life affects others in such a clearer positive way – and you just might make a difference!

  8. When I think of the words “soul comfort” I get a strong sense of wholeness and peace and joy. It gives me a feeling of a warm blanket being wrapped around my inner self.

  11. For me, soul comfort is an opportunity to nourish and nurture the core of who I am and what I am to others, I am mother, wife, friend, daughter, sister….. In many if these role my job is to nurture and support others. As much as it is a blessing to be everything to everyone, it is very easy to lose who you are to yourself. I turn to comfort foods and items (I.e. a warm fuzzy bathrobe), we look for comfort in the arms of my partner and friends, in the security that my children are safey tucked in at night, but rarely do I turn to what truly feeds my soul…. Creativity, art, time to explore who I am irrespective of the other influences in my life. The opportunity to participate in the soul comfort e class will enable me to put myself first, if even for a little while. It offers the opportunity to be disciplined and inspired in the feeding of my creative spirit, who to me is truly the essence of who I am. Thank you for this opportunity.

  12. When I think of Soul Comfort, I think of that moment when I feel loved, protected, and at peace. Peace is seriously lacking right now. I would want to take this class to learn how to find a place of peace and rest among all the turmoil around me. Thank you for this opportunity to take this class. Winning this class would be the only way I could take it right now.

  13. Painting in solitude…period. Well, and mashed potatoes and gravy. But I could live without potatoes – I could not live without painting.

  14. When I think of Soul Comfort, I realize that it has only been in terms of something that someone else needed and it was my responsibility and job to provide it to them personally and in my career. As an Oncology Nurse I have always seen the need to provide to my patients and families comfort in the most devastating times of their diagnosis, treatment and other heartbreaking times they struggle with. In my personal life, I struggle with having an aging mother who worked her entire life for her children only to lose most of them. Being single, I fill in the void for her as much as possible.
Now I have recently lost my job of 20 years and I feel so lost…so broken and unsure of what to do.
With the help of very special friends in my life and special Brave Girl Sisters I have realized that what I really need is Soul Comfort of my own. I have given enough and fed enough souls for now without having my soul fed.
You can only give what you have.
It is the time right now for me to feed my soul before I can journey on to what it is meant for me next. Thank you for providing this opportunity to those that need it most…good luck Braves and hope to meet you in Soul Comfort. Denise

  15. I have always naturally felt the need to take care of my family first. I was an only child, took care of my parents as they aged, took care of my 6 children as a single parent. Taking care of myself is very foreign concept to me, even now as a senior person. Life is chaotic, even now, having peace and calm in my life would be a Comfort to my Soul.
    Thank you for this opportunity!
