What is an Inkhorn?
An INKHORN is an inkwell or small container made out of horn, formerly used to hold writing ink.
A Writer’s Inkhorn derives its name from Ezekiel 9:3-4:
And he called to the [wo]man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by [her] side; And the LORD said unto [her], Go through the midst of the city…and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men…
